Our Story
Proudly Canadian. Family-Owned.
Range Road Enterprises began with two guys, a couple of bad backs, and a simple goal: to find a better, more affordable way to cut and split firewood. What started in 2011 with selling log splitters quickly grew into a full-blown passion for designing and building equipment that works hard—just like our customers.
Our first innovation was the RR1000, a compact 6HP, 6-ton firewood processor developed in partnership with a trusted Chinese factory. It proved to be tough, reliable, and efficient. In fact, many of those early models are still going strong today.
But we didn’t stop there. We upgraded the RR1000 to a 9HP unit—because this is Canada, and bigger really is better. That same spirit of innovation led to the creation of the RR2000, capable of handling 16” logs and featuring a built-in conveyor. Listening to feedback from real users, we refined the design again and launched the RR2500, with key improvements to both the body and conveyor system.
As demand grew, we knew we needed to support our customers better. That’s why we built a network of local dealers—so you can see our machines in action, buy with confidence, and get the support and parts you need, close to home.
At Range Road, we’re proud to offer hardworking, affordable equipment for hardworking Canadians.
2011 – Range Road started out selling Log Splitters in Central Alberta
2013 – The RR2000, 16” max diameter, 10 Ton 13HP engine, 4” wide conveyor belt, with this processor we knew we had something good.
2014 – The RR2500, customer input helped make a few changes to the RR2000, the biggest change was to the conveyor, 6” belt and added sides.
2014 – The infeed conveyor with a 6” belt and using parts that interchange with the rear conveyor was developed and added to the lineup. this would retrofit to all RR2000/RR2500/RR20T units with no welding.
2015 – The RR20T was introduced, 16” max. Diameter, 20 Ton, 14HP, customer input helped with many small changes and body modifications.
2016 – We added the RR10T and RR10T36 entry Level Firewood Processors as well as the RR120 12 Ton and RR270 27 Ton Hydraulic Log Splitter with cycle times of 4 and 6 seconds which were the fastest in the market. We would now have our new 27 Ton Firewood Processor and added a couple more ATV/UTV Trailers to the lineup.
